Project brief
Concept4 were invited to create design for new offices in Palo Alto based on Bristol HQ.
This included site surveys and detailed design for initial consultation with landlord to negotiate fit-out costs and engage contractors. We fully managed the design implementation with regular meetings and key stage site visits.
The design brief was to create similar contemporary modern finishes to harmonise with UK HQ including glass partitions, flooring, kitchen tea point and breakout areas.
We specified and arranged furniture packages including sourcing local soft seating and supervised installation on site. Height Adjustable desking and task seating was procured from Herman Miller to match UK standards.
Our design features a spacious communal area for staff to come together for presentations, informal meetings, shared mealtimes and to promote social interaction on an outside roof terrace with amazing views towards Stanford university and downtown Palo Alto.
The Graphcore building is opposite the original Facebook offices and along from the location of first iconic Apple store. It is a key strategic location for sales and engineering to support continued rapid growth.
